I wish I could say they were better than meh
I was hopeful because I've gotten boots and shoes from Merrell before, but the cut of these boots for women is more like men's, the footbed most definitely wider than a B width, the footbed was just a little short, like Merrels can be, I had to order 1/2 size-up and put odor eater AND orthotic insert in the boot to make them fit. They pucker when I pull them tight enough, I can't stand that, smh. I've seen people complain about how cheap they seem, and part of that is fir breathability, like the tongue looks cheap with exposed foam, but I chalked that up to breathability, because the tongue also has numerous vent holes... It's a brown color, no plum to it. Though I kept them, I don't feel comfortable recommending them to other women unless they have kinda wide feet. Order 1/2 size up.

Dubious but impressed
Was a little dubious about the waterproof abilities, but they proved me wrong! Tested these on a week-long hiking trip, and they did not let me down. Hiked up a few mountains (one in the pouring rain đ ), through rivers and creeks, and muddy terrain and my feet stayed dry and comfortable! These shoes did not need to be broken in, ready out of the box! I sized up half a size, and they fit wonderfully!

Great buy!
Very comfortable and lightweight legs didnât hurt. Went on a 10 day trip to Canada walking 5-7 miles a day and they kept my feet warm and dry. Never slipped on wet and snow roads. No break in time. Went up half a size. And glad I did. They wouldnât have fit otherwise. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy again.

Not Waterproof
I bought this product a month ago. I am pleased with the fit and comfort but they are not particularly waterproof. I just rechecked the box they came in specifically to make sure they were waterproof. I was walking in wet grass and my socks are pretty wet but not soaked. Not what I was expecting!

sadly a letdown
Honestly very disappointed. The little dots are popping out. The seams or material is fraying. Iâve been trying everything to break them in and they are for sure waterproof so love that but my toes are sooo bruised and I went up half a size.

Best Boots Iâve Ever Had
These books are amazing. My last pair of hiking boots were more than double the cost of these and they never fit me well. These Merrell boots are PERFECT for my high arch. So much support and comfortable since first try on. Absolutely no break in time needed. They are so comfy, almost cushy. I love the color as well. I wear these on fairly rugged terrain in Idaho but I also wear them semi casually in bad weather and theyâre cute enough to pair with jeans. I wish I would have found these boots five years ago. Truly a great product at a very fair price.

My new rockhounding shoes. Waterproof to the max!
LOVE these shoes. I cannot say enough about how awesome they are. Comfortable, sturdy, & waterproof, they take me where I need to go. My feet remain dry, even when I wade into water deeper than the tops! I'm out on slippery rocks a lot, and I have NEVER fallen. The soles grip so well. Merrell has made an excellent shoe with fabulous retro styling.

Super Comfy, Bad Tongue Design
These shoes are extremely comfortable and I love wearing them. I also get complimented every time I go out. That said the tongue design is really bad. The raw edges were not a smart design and make the shoes look cheap. The holes in the tongue also mean the shoes are not waterproof. I think the company would do well making these shoes with a better tongue design. However, other than that the shoes are pretty fantastic.
